Why should I have my pet vaccinated?
Pets, like humans, should be protected by vaccination against a number of serious and potentially fatal infectious diseases. Vaccination helps protect your pet(s) against these viruses or other life threatening diseases.
Canine infections and life-threatening diseases include rabies, parvovirus, leptospirosis, and distemper. Rabies causes destruction of your pet's central nervous system. Parvovirus causes destruction of your pet's immune system, vomiting and diarrhea. Distemper causes pneumonia and seizures. Leptospirosis causes liver and/or kidney damage or failure.
Life threatening diseases and infections for cats include feline distemper, rabies and leukemia. Rabies in cats also causes central nervous system destruction. Feline distemper causes low white blood cell counts and vomiting. Feline leukemia infects the immune system and can cause cancer.
Take advantage of this special offer. Whether they are overdue or their vaccines are coming due within the next 60 days, you can save 10%. Refer a friend and receive a $10.00 credit on your account. Just ask them to mention your name.
